Direct Roving for LFT (Long Fiber Thermoplastic)

1. Description

Produced from ECR glass (no fluorine nor boron), compatible with PP, PE and other thermoplastic resins, applying for process of long fiber reinforced thermoplastics, such as LFT, LFT-D, Prepreg, etc., suitable for production of automobile parts, home appliances, mechanical tools, sports equipment, etc.

2. Properties & Advantages

* ECR glass makes the products with high strength and high elasticity modulus.

* Good processability, good dispersion performance, good abrasion resistance, low fuzz.

* Silane coupling agent. Special made sizing guarantees the good combination of the fiber and resin, offering the composites with good mechanical strength and good anti-fatigue performance.

* Good compatibility with matrix resins, makes the final products with stable color and less fiber shown.

* J859 products have good low odor property and excellent yarn unfolding performance.

* J860 products approved with ROHS certificates of analysis.

4. Packing

Each bobbin is wrapped with PVC shrink bag or PE viscous film, putting on pallet in arrangement of 4×4 as one layer, each pallet with 3 layers (48 bobbins) or 4 layers (64 bobbins) of bobbins.

As per customers’ request, the bobbins of one pallet could be connected as a start to an end (creel packing).

The whole pallet will be totally wrapped and fastened on the fumigation-free pallets by shrink film.

5. Storage

Store the products in a dry and cool place, controlling the temperature between 15℃-35℃ and the relative humidity between 30%-70%. Please keep the products in its original package before using to prevent moisture.
